A member of the Adidogome community started the Yokoe savings group in 2017.
She had previously been a member of another IADES group but found it difficult to travel to the group meetings, because of the distance and the transportation costs.
After talking to other women in her neighbourhood they established the Yokoe savings group to benefit from the services provided by IADES and to access Deki loans.
Eight members of the group have already received their Deki loans. 12 members are applying for a loan in this cycle.
